For the past year, I’ve been a Brand Ambassador for HIP2B², an awesome brand started by South African entrepeneur Mark Shuttleworth.

Since I haven’t written anything about my Hip2B² year-long project, I thought now is a good time to do so, as it’s going public in the next 2 weeks.

I decided to devote my year-long project to creating a social bookmarking tool for South African teenagers, as a result of my interest in creating websites and Web 2.0.

It’s 2008 and this is my first post for the new year… I know, it’s quite a time since the new year has started, but since I’m no professional blogger, I’m not on a tight schedule to write something for the site.

As I’ve become quite addicted to blogging in the past few days, I thought I would give you a quick update from the F1 in Schools team that I’m part of: Team Zealous.

A while ago, when I first heard that I was selected and found out about the BA weekend, I was very excited. I was looking forward to a great way not only to start the summer holiday, but also my time as BA for Hip2b².

As you may have noticed, the Hip2B² Brand Ambassador Programme was recently added to my list of current involvements. I did this because I recently became a part of the BA programme and attended a workship the past 5 days.
